Preschool 8:45am - 11:30am Monday - Friday
Each child is assigned a preschool teacher and placed into an age appropriate class. Preschool begins with a snack to enable the children to develop their social skills. Following snack, each preschool class visits three different activity centers. These activity centers are set up to help the child meet their developmental needs. The activity centers include areas of art, language, music and dance to help develop fine motor and cognitive skills. Outside play is also provided to develop gross motor skills and social skills. Throughout the preschool year, special guests and field trips which correlate with the weekly themes are incorporated into the preschool program.
Full day childcare is provided within the operating hours of 7:00am to 6:00pm. Before preschool, children have the choice of quiet time activities, breakfast, outside play (weather permitting) or a group story time. After preschool, children are given a nutritious lunch, a nap or rest time, afternoon snack and a choice of extended and enrichment activities within mixed age groups.
Vacation Camp
Neighborhood Learning Center follows the St. Vrain Valley School District calendar. During summer vacations, camp is provided for children in kindergarten through fifth grade. Children leave campus from the hours of 9:00am - 4:00pm (approximately) and participate in various fun activities. Calendars listing the activities are printed prior to camp days.
Enrichment Activities
These activities are taught by specialized instructors and have an additional cost. They are provided for the convenience of the family and are separate from Neighborhood Learning Center.
